How Care Circle Works

Three simple steps to daily peace of mind for your whole family.

Step 1: Create a Circle

The organizer signs in and creates a care circle. A circle is a group centered around one person you want to check on, such as an elderly parent, a grandparent living alone, or a neighbor recovering from surgery. You name the circle, choose a check in schedule (daily, twice daily, or weekly), and pick the time that fits your loved one's routine.

Creating a circle takes less than a minute. You do not need to install any hardware, pair any devices, or configure any complex settings. Just a name, a schedule, and a time.

Step 2: Invite Your Family

Once the circle is created, you get an invite code and a QR code. Share the code with the person you want to check on and with any family members who should receive updates. Siblings, neighbors, and local caregivers can all join the same circle.

The person being checked on (the recipient) joins with the code and does not need to create an account or sign in with Google. They simply enter the code, allow notifications, and they are ready. Family members who want to see check in history and receive alerts sign in with their Google account for a richer experience.

Step 3: Check Ins Begin Automatically

At the scheduled time, the recipient receives a push notification asking them to confirm they are okay. They tap the notification and that is it. Every member of the circle sees the confirmation. The whole interaction takes about three seconds.

If the recipient does not respond within the grace period, Care Circle automatically sends an alert to every member of the circle. This way someone who is nearby can call, visit, or take whatever action is appropriate. The alert is clear and direct so there is no ambiguity about what happened.

What You Can See as a Family Member

Family members and organizers have access to a response history showing every check in. You can see when your parent responded, how quickly they responded, and whether any check ins were missed. Over time this history reveals patterns that might not be obvious from daily phone calls.

The organizer can also adjust the schedule, add or remove members, and manage circle settings at any time. Everything is accessible from a clean, simple interface designed for clarity.

Free and Pro Plans

Care Circle is free for one circle with up to five members. This covers most families who want to check on a single loved one. If you need multiple circles, larger groups, or flexible scheduling, Care Circle Pro unlocks those features with a free trial so you can try it before committing.

Only the organizer needs Pro. Recipients and family members always join free, no matter which plan the organizer is on.

Care Circle is a communication tool, not a substitute for in person visits, medical advice, or emergency services. Notifications depend on internet connectivity and device settings, and may not always be delivered.
